FREE NIGHT IN A CABIN

Saturday, February 28th, 2009

Tomorrow is March 1st! Wow, the best thing about this March is that, our company, Gold Rush Resort Rentals is offering a “FREE” third night throughout the whole month!

If guests aren’t able to stay the third night they are able to use the time on either end. Choose to arrive earlier or stay later, either choice will be yours to make up for the third night free.

With so many wonderful cabins to choose from the hardest part will be to choose which cabin to stay in.

That’s a winner in my opinion any time!

St. Pat’s Day with a Free Night

Saturday, February 28th, 2009

So what is everyone doing for St. Patty’s? I don’t know what I’ll be doing, maybe working, who knows??

Well, the thing that I would suggest to do is come up to Big Bear and enjoy some live entertainment over in the village at chads, with the live band, good enviroment of happy people, and some green drinks!

Sounds like fun, then, after all that maybe go hit the slopes and shred the powder up! After all of that how about… enjoying a nice evening in one of our cabins with a hot tub and the best part about it, is that the third night is “FREE”

March Is Almost Here

Friday, February 27th, 2009

The end of another month is here, can you believe it, we are already about to start the third month of the year. The time is just flying faster and faster every year.

It feels like just yesterday that I was graduating school and starting collage and now I realize that 10 years have gone by. Where does the time go?

But it is all a good thing because I am now living in beautiful Big Bear and enjoying every minute of the days I am here. I hope that everybody gets the time to come up here and see our wonderful mountain some time soon.

There is still lots of snow that surrounds us which is a good thing for all of you that reside in the city! I think that I would come to visit Big Bear this weekend, a non-holiday weekend, I believe that the traffic shouldn’t effect the whole fun about coming to Big Bear with friends or family!

Whatch’a say, make a reservation and please make sure to ask about our “MARCH” discounted rates!!

Please call us toll free at 1-800-363-8303, or view all of our homes at www.cabin411.com.

Interesting Info On Bald Eagles

Thursday, February 26th, 2009

Good Morning to all… how nice it is to see another warm blue sky day in mid 40’s! Spring is in the air!

But, it’s still winter.. and you know what is weird is that I took a walk around my neighborhood the other day and over in my neighborhood is where the bald eagle tree is located. Well. they weren’t there, it’s like they vanished in thin air!

I’m not to sure if any one is aware of, that Bald Eagles only live in trees that are 75 ft or higher! Bald eagles love to eat fish, sometimes smaller birds and snakes! They mate for life. The females may lay from one to three eggs, and raises one group a year. If the egg is distroyed the female must lay more!

Bald eagles have great eyesight that help them see for one to one and a half miles away! They dive at 100 miles per hour! Their eyesight and diving ability help them catch there food!

Bald Eagles are the national symbol of the United States!

So here is a little history on Big Bears Bald Eagles!

Hope to see you all soon in Big Bear!!

Looking Forward To This Weekend

Thursday, February 26th, 2009

I’m still looking forward to going down to the beach cities this weekend, especially since the weather is getting warmer out.

I just found out that I will be getting to go to my 10 year old nephew’s baseball game and pancake breakfast on Saturday, could be fun. I haven’t been able to go see him play since he joined the team so I am looking forward to cheering him on. He is quite the little athlete so I can’t wait to hang with my sister and watch his team kick some butt.

Feels Like Spring Time

Thursday, February 26th, 2009

It so feels like spring out there, it is very refreshing to have all of that lovely sunshine. The days are getting warmer and the nights are getting shorter. Next thing you know we will have flowers popping up all over the mountian with swirls of color everywhere. Then we will be out on the lake sailing or swimming and watching all the little kids out there splashing around in the water. Sounds fun and relaxing to me.

The Hoxseywood Cabin features a very large downstairs living area, that is great for gathering the family by the fire and playing games. The kitchen is just adorable. They have decorated it with vintage style, but is has the conveniences of modern appliances.

This cabin is also pet friendly, so pack you sleds and games, and get the family and dog in the car and get on up here!
