Big Bear Is A Great Place To Be Anytime Of Year

Sunday, April 26th, 2009

With the weather finally starting to warm up enough that you want to spend the days outside Big Bear is the place to be.

We have so much to do up here, you can play on the water or in the water. There is swimming, wake boarding, jet skiing, parasailing, and fishing if you prefer to be on or in the water.

If you are more of a dry land type of person there is plenty of room to go for a hike, mountain biking, horseback riding, or you can just spent the day walking around the Village looking for something that you just can’t live without buying to take home to remember your vacation up here on the mountain.

For the In-Betweeners

Sunday, April 26th, 2009

I went out with friends last night who are visiting from San Diego, and they were just going on and on about what a perfect time it is to come to Big Bear!

They said they’re not into water sports, they’re not big skiiers, and so to come during the non-peak season is ideal for them.

The crowds are small and the weather is perfect for hiking, biking, or just relaxing by the lake. So, for all you in-betweeners who don’t need the warm lake or the ski resorts, just the natural beauty of Big Bear, now is the time to make your reservation!

Fishing Season Getting Underway

Saturday, April 25th, 2009

It’s another beautiful day in Big Bear, although it is much chillier than it has been the last couple of days. I believe that’s how it’s been everywhere in California, we had quite a heat wave come through this last week, but it seems as though temperatures are getting back to normal April weather.

And we have been super cliche with our weather up here, as we have already had some April showers, and more are possible for the next couple of days, but you wouldn’t know it to look outside!

The fishing season is getting underway, so this weather has been fabulous to get out there on the lake, so c’mon up and enjoy the mountains with us this Spring!
