The 5th annual trout fest is proven to be a popular outing for everybody in your family. Come on up to the crisp air in Big Bear lake and enjoy a weekend among your fellow anglers as you fish for thousands of dollars in cash and prizes.
Prizes will be awarded to the top five finishers as every year a big fish trophy will also be awarded to the largest trout caught over the two day event. Trust me, even if you think this is out of your league there is a blind boggy contest, this year their breaking up 5,000 dollars, so, even a bad day could pay off big [Ii myself have proven this true, last year I won $300.00 for a 1.2 pound trout over a two day event, ,sure it's a little embarassing to be called up but cash is cash]. Saturday, the 3rd, the local B’s bbq is hosting a free lunch to all anglers as all kinds of sponsors will have booths set up and giving away free stuff like rapala, panther martin, mercury, plano, shakspeare and lowe boats.
There’s even a special drawing and prizes for kids catches, and goodie bags given away to the first 600 sign ups, the cost for this two day event is only $75.00 for adults and $50.00 for kids under 16 years old, and that includes all fun stuff like the blind boggy and it enters every one for a chance to win a fishing boat and trailer .
