Discovery Center…

The Discovery Center is an absolute must see while in the Big Bear Lake and the North Shore Side of town.

The exhibits and programs are exciting, educational, and most importantly, FUN for the whole family!! Don’t miss the unique nature themed gift and book store and “view cafe”.

The center opens at *am and closes at 4:30 p.m. in the winter and 6p.m. in the summer: 7days a week. This educational center is considered your gateway to the forest, offering a wide variety of services including exhibits, special events and celebrations, hiking, biking and maps, camping information, discovery walks, naturalist lead and self guided and hiking tours, permits and passes, plus much more.
