Just another beautiful day in Big Bear California and I wanted to let you all know what’s happening on the mountain this weekend.
Our Big Bear Discovery Center is having a Tribute to the Eagles on Saturday the 13th of June the cost for this event is $20 a person with children 12 and under free. It’s an open theater with bench seats but you’re welcome to bring cushions, chairs or blankets. Also bring a picnic but no beverages are allowed, they have a snack bar which offers beverages including beer and wine. Dress warm and come enjoy the show, the gates open at 5:30 pm and the show starts at 7pm. Also happening this weekend is the Music at the Mansion on the 14th of June at the Historical Knickerbocker Mansion given by the Art Council of Big Bear Valley with musical theater, light opera and pop selections. The cost for this event is $20 a person and reservations are recommended. The show starts at 4pm and for another $20 per person you can enjoy a dinner following the show with Chief Thomas Bicanic offering a menu of five entrees which include: Salisbury steak, Sirloin Burger, Half Baked Chicken, Butter Nut Squash Raviolis or Filet Mignon Stroganoff with soup and salad and a dessert. They’re also offering a special for two glasses of wine for the price of one….sounds delicious don’t you think? The dinner goes from 5:30 to 6pm.
