So there’s snow covering the ground, fires are warming their households, Christmas songs fill the air, the locals sipping on hot chocolate or coffee and we’re all bundled up in our favorite warm beanies, hats and scarves! I’m definitely feeling in the mood for Christmas! Here at our office we’re all decked out too! Our tree is decorated to the nine, our stockings are hung with the small snowy village perched above them, and US in our “Santa’s Little Helper’s” apron and Santa hats! We still have cabins for you and your family up here in Big Bear, so give us a call toll free at 1-800-363-8303 to make your reservations today!

So here we are Monday the 7th and it’s snowing!!
It’s so beautiful everything is covered in white. But it sure is chilly! No school today so all the kids in the mountains are happy today.
We have a toasty fire going in the fireplace and I’m sippin’ hot coffee and enjoying the view. I think I’ll make a snowperson later and drop right down and make a snow angel!!
What a way to spend the day, playing in the snow with a fire going and drinking something warm!
Want to get away and play in the snow give us a call at Santa’s Cabins at 1 (800) 363-8303 or check out our cool cabins at www.SantasCabins.com and let us help you plan the perfect holiday get away….Bre Fa…la…la…la

If you are looking for some fun this weekend, I would recommend coming up to Big Bear for our 60th annual Old Miner’s Days Parade!
The fun begins at 12:30pm at the corner of Summit and Big Bear Blvd. making its way westward towards the Village. It comes to a grand finale end in the Village at the Elk’s Lodge.
This year’s parade is expected to be bigger and better. More bands are participating including the Unites States Marine Corps Band from Twentynine Palms. The U.S. Army’s 11th Cavalry from Fort Irwin is a parade entry along with floats, equestrian units and lots of entries from local Valley organizations are part of the celebration of the Valley’s history.
A flyover by a U.S. Navy aircraft is also planned. This wonderful parade lasts just a few hours but the memories to be made will last a lifetime! Come and join us for this once a year celebration! Hope to see you there.

The weather outside is gorgeous, thunder and rainy… what a surprise! Just finished washing the windows outside of work and while I was doing the windows the sky was blue! Within minutes, mother nature took over and started dumping rain!
I love the rain, our town needs it, it helps the flowers and drops our tempature down! The weather has been way too humid! Our lake can hopefully fill up a little! In some areas of Big Bear we definitely need it! Big Bear is amazing though!
I Could never complain with all the four seasons that we are blessed to have, I love it! Not only does the weather change, but so does your spirit, depending on the season! You can never be bored, there are plenty of things to keep occupied with and things are fairly affordable!
Speaking of affordable, we offer Affordable Accomodations in Big Bear! How about considering the most memorable vacation ever through us!
We HAVE THE BEST PRICES AND SERVICE, we love to spoil our guests! If you are one of those people that are looking for a good time in Big Bear and an Affordable cabin, wehave the friendliest staff to assist you , give us a call 1-800-363-8303!

For those looking to have a “Hot Blooded” Fourth of July weekend in Big Bear, the Big Bear Valley Recreation and Park District is offering a lakeside concert featuring Lou Gramm of Foreigner, the band behind “Jukebox Hero” and “Feels Like the First Time.” Tickets are now on sale for the Fourth of July concert, to be held at Swim Beach on Big Bear Lake; ticket prices range from $25 to just $35 for a front row seat. According to Parks and Recreation’s Lorie Judd, “They’re all great seats—the furthest is only 90 feet from the stage! It’s going to be a great show. We’re also going to have great food vendors and the fireworks over Big Bear Lake after the show, so what could be better than that?” Since the show is at Swim Beach, and boating on the Fourth is a tradition for many, there will also be boat entry available at the Lou Gramm concert. For $250 per boat, no matter the number onboard, concert-goers can enjoy the show from the cove of Swim Beach. The concert begins at 6:30pm, and the annual fireworks show over Big Bear Lake will be immediately following. To purchase tickets, visit the Recreation and Park District offices on Park Avenue or call 866-9700 or log onto www. bigbearparks.com.
