Good Morning to all… how nice it is to see another warm blue sky day in mid 40′s! Spring is in the air!

But, it’s still winter.. and you know what is weird is that I took a walk around my neighborhood the other day and over in my neighborhood is where the bald eagle tree is located. Well. they weren’t there, it’s like they vanished in thin air!

I’m not to sure if any one is aware of, that Bald Eagles only live in trees that are 75 ft or higher! Bald eagles love to eat fish, sometimes smaller birds and snakes! They mate for life. The females may lay from one to three eggs, and raises one group a year. If the egg is distroyed the female must lay more!

Bald eagles have great eyesight that help them see for one to one and a half miles away! They dive at 100 miles per hour! Their eyesight and diving ability help them catch there food!

Bald Eagles are the national symbol of the United States!

So here is a little history on Big Bears Bald Eagles!

Hope to see you all soon in Big Bear!!
