Fun Activities In Big Bear California

Here are some great ideas for your vacation time in Big Bear.

Horseback Riding is great fun for the whole family and we have the Baldwin Lake Stables. From 1-2 hour rides with a wide variety of terrains on several trails, all with spectacular vistas.

These rides are geared to the experience of the rider. 3 hour or ½ day rides visit the Historic Pacific Crest Tail, which include expansive views of the vast Mojave Desert.

They also offer a majestic sunset ride, the kind that postcards are made of. The trail ascends to a scenic spot where you can watch the sun descend behind the mountains, splashing ever-changing colors across the valley.

They also offer a remote location ride; this ride is geared to the real adventure seeker. Your horses will be trailered to the location where your ride begins. This wilderness tour climbs to a lookout reaching one of the most spectacular views Big Bear has to offer.

If you’re looking for a unique experience on horseback you’ll love this ride. They also have a wonderful petting zoo with Llamas, Bunnies, Goats and Pigs to name a few; to pet, feed and even cuddle. Fun for the whole family, For the little buckaroos too young for the trail rides they have hand-led pony rides.
