From Coffee and cookies to Santa and trees we got it ALL!

Tuesday, September 29th, 2009

Gosh a good cup of coffee makes me happy!

I stopped in to 7/11 on my way to work to grab my morning cup o joe. But when I finished it, I still wanted more.

I searched the kitchen and there it was, Premium Roast! I broke out the coffee maker and brewed it right up! To my surprise we had not just one kind of cocoa but 3 different kinds! Hazelnut, Chocolate Raspberry, and White Chocolate! What a treat, I made my coffee and added a Hazelnut cocoa packet…tastes just like a cappuccino!

It made my day and we know just how to make yours too! In the winter we have home made cookies, hot cocoa, tea and coffee on check in days. No, it’s not for us silly…they’re for our guests.

We will have a toasty fire, some hot coffee, tea or cocoa (which ever you prefer) and some warm cookies right out of the oven, when you come to check in!

Maybe you’re sitting at your beach house listening to the waves, not daring to think about Christmas or the winter. But you should be thinking of planning a trip up here to Big Bear this season.

decorated-xmas-treeWe can have a Christmas tree waiting for you, fully decorated and lit up for your arrival. We can even send Santa…yes I said Santa, to your cabin to visit the little ones! You know he has some very special cabins that he would like you to stay in.

As it gets closer to his biggest day of the year, he likes to take a relaxing trip up here to Big Bear. He promises us that good little boys and girls that are staying in any of his cabin’s, will get a special visit from the big man himself!

He might even bring you a special stocking filled with a few goodies! But remind your parents, kidos, to call and arrange the best time to have him visit. We wouldn’t want to miss you while you were out making a snowman or enjoying a lovely sledding hill.

You just have to stop by our web site http://www.santascabins.com/ to check out the awesome santas-banner2locations, low prices and beautiful pictures of all that we have to offer. Take a look, and while you’re there make a reservation…

We’d love to have you visit! Hope to see you soon!

Fourth of July-Independance Day

Friday, June 12th, 2009

Every country has a “4th of July” but not every country celebrates their independance like AMERICA!  Fireworks are  standard fare for celebrating this holiday, but size does matter.

Leave fireworks to the “big guys” the pros!  It is illegal to bring fireworks (even safe and sane) to the mountains!  Do yourself a favor and enjoy the big free shows, and leave illegal fireworks off the hill!

The Big Bear Lake Rotary Club sponsors the Fireworks show every year!  And every year is better than before!  Did you know that many city run firework displays are being canceled due to the cost!

Not here in Big Bear!  We will be having our fireworks over the lake in all its beautiful splendor!  When you are out and about in town, remember to feed your coins into the fireworks cans!  Those donations always make a difference!

If you need a reservation for Independance Day, give me a call…1-800-363-8303

Skiing Is Even Better In A T-Shirt

Sunday, March 15th, 2009

It is stunning up here right now, and I know you might have your worries about the snow conditions. But speaking as someone who has been skiing the last two days, there is nothing to fear. The coverage and snow is just great and the weather couldn’t be nicer.

Only in California can you go from the beach to the mountains in a matter of a couple hours, and there is nothing better than being able to ski a t-shirt, with the warm sun on your back, zooming down the mountain. ski-jump

So get on up here, cause we have some awesome specials on our cabins, and I guarantee you the conditions will not dissapoint.
