Zip Line 100ft over the Forest!

So as of a few months ago, we have a new, fun and exciting way to explore the Big Bear Valley.

Currently the one and only operating Zip Line Tour in all of Southern California! You can zoom on 3 different zip lines for about 2 hours or you can get the BIG package and do all 5 zips which take about 3 hours.

You soar 100 feet above the forest floor, with awesome views of the lake and the surrounding area. They have aerial platforms for easy take off and landing and it’s available year round! Located about 5 minutes from the Village just off Mill Creek Rd.

It’s only 2 hours from you guys down there in the LA basin. You must be at least 75 pounds and not exceed 250 pounds. But don’t worry; they do have tandem tours available  so you can take the little one too!

The prices are the best part…well probably until you get up there…with the Black Bear Tour with 3 zips is only $65 and if your down to do the Grizzly Bear Tour that will only cost you $85 for all 5 zips!

I can’t wait to explore this newest way to check out the scenery! Hope you have a high flyin time!

Zip Lines in Big Bear!

I happened to go to the Chamber of Commerce building to get some information about things to do this weekend, and I found out that we have a Zip Line company right here in Big Bear Lake!

Flying Bear Zip Lines is located close to our Gold Rush Resort Office right here off Red Ant Hill!  It is on the greener side of the mountain and not too far from some of our rentals.  They claim 5 exhilarating Zip Lines, Aerial Platforms & Sky Bridge.

I must say it looks like there is something for the whole family.  It is located at the top of Mill Creek Road, one of our favorite places to picnic and read and relax!  Take a look at their website and see the beauty of 2N10!

While you are at it, why not rent a cabin from us and stay a while!
