What a great Halloween night!~

Friday, November 6th, 2009

We spent our Halloween night in the Village, with most of the valley’s trick or treaters! What a wonderfully spooky time we had!

But, first we stopped by the last and final day of the Oktoberfest for a costume contest! My beautiful daughter Shaeley, dressed up as Princess Cinderella, got 2nd runner up!

My son who was a ninja and my niece who was also a princess, Princess Ariel, had a great time and got a prize for participating! Then off to the village for some treats!

We saw some great costumes, and got even better candy! We even caught an awesome Christian band Witness, who performed at the Skeleton Key!

We met up with lots of friends, and couldn’t seem to even recognize a few! All in all it was a great Halloween night!

Hope everyone had a safe and happy Halloween!

From Coffee and cookies to Santa and trees we got it ALL!

Gosh a good cup of coffee makes me happy!

I stopped in to 7/11 on my way to work to grab my morning cup o joe. But when I finished it, I still wanted more.

I searched the kitchen and there it was, Premium Roast! I broke out the coffee maker and brewed it right up! To my surprise we had not just one kind of cocoa but 3 different kinds! Hazelnut, Chocolate Raspberry, and White Chocolate! What a treat, I made my coffee and added a Hazelnut cocoa packet…tastes just like a cappuccino!

It made my day and we know just how to make yours too! In the winter we have home made cookies, hot cocoa, tea and coffee on check in days. No, it’s not for us silly…they’re for our guests.

We will have a toasty fire, some hot coffee, tea or cocoa (which ever you prefer) and some warm cookies right out of the oven, when you come to check in!

Maybe you’re sitting at your beach house listening to the waves, not daring to think about Christmas or the winter. But you should be thinking of planning a trip up here to Big Bear this season.

decorated-xmas-treeWe can have a Christmas tree waiting for you, fully decorated and lit up for your arrival. We can even send Santa…yes I said Santa, to your cabin to visit the little ones! You know he has some very special cabins that he would like you to stay in.

As it gets closer to his biggest day of the year, he likes to take a relaxing trip up here to Big Bear. He promises us that good little boys and girls that are staying in any of his cabin’s, will get a special visit from the big man himself!

He might even bring you a special stocking filled with a few goodies! But remind your parents, kidos, to call and arrange the best time to have him visit. We wouldn’t want to miss you while you were out making a snowman or enjoying a lovely sledding hill.

You just have to stop by our web site http://www.santascabins.com/ to check out the awesome santas-banner2locations, low prices and beautiful pictures of all that we have to offer. Take a look, and while you’re there make a reservation…

We’d love to have you visit! Hope to see you soon!
