President’s Day Greetings

Monday, February 16th, 2009

OMG!!!! Another white out today, lots of check-outs, hopefully everyone will drive safely off the mountain! They are predicting 14 to 20 inches today alone! Ouch!!!!

So , not to sure if anyone was aware that Big Bear had an earthquake on Valentines Day, centered in big bear city 1.6! Small but weird!! So i was listening to the local radio station on my way to work this morning, and they are saying that the roads are R-2 condition, 4×4 will need snow tires on all four tires and to carry chains! Wow!!

Highway patrol will be in the residential area and every where on the highways making sure that everyone is safe! Please pull over if you need to put on your chains for the safety of others on the road! Do not stop in the middle of the road! Other then that I would like to say “Happy Presidents Day” and thank you for coming to Big Bear making your vacation an experience to remember!!!!

A Triple Treat Weekend Ahead

Tuesday, February 10th, 2009

Its going to be a triple threat of holidays this weekend.

We start with my favorite, Friday the 13th, this one is always fun, its not so much bad luck as most of the superstious people think.

Then of course there is Valentines Day for all of the couples out there to enjoy with chocolates and champagne. And to make it into a three day weekend is Presidant’s Day, if you don’t really pay much attention to that one then be happy that it extends your weekend.

So with all the snow we just got up here it should be a great weekend to be up here in Big Bear.

Having A Great Weekend

Sunday, February 8th, 2009

It’s just about 4:00 p.m. and becoming more quiet as time moves closer to evening.

Big Bear had a busy weekend hosting happy travelers looking for a great time. According to our departing guests, fun was had by all. All ages young and young at heart was extremely pleased with their time spent in Big Bear.

Many have promised to return before Spring wanting to recapture the very special time that the winter season can only provide.

The town village is quiet and the streets are seemingly rolled up for the week. Although the impending weekend ahead is a three day holiday weekend. The forecast claims we are expecting more weather to come in by next Friday which will be another special treat for our new travelers for the weekend.

Just a few more homes left to be completely booked full for the holiday. Don’t forget that there are two holidays in this coming weekend. Valentine’s Day and Presidents Day, Wow, what a combo!

Our romance package is red hot and will help set the mood for a special evening ahead.

See you soon…….
