Creative Business Owners

Thursday, July 23rd, 2009

Never let it be said that business owners are not creative!  I was driving by a ski rental business and they are renting Kayaks…the fudge store sells ice cream…another ski/board shop is renting bikes.  Yes, such is the way of a tourist community!  These business’ have to stay alive all year long, even with seasonal offerings.

Compare Our Homes & Prices To Other Rental Agencies

Sunday, February 8th, 2009

Boohoo!  We’re sorry to see our guests check-out! We’re happy knowing that they are all snug in their cabins and having a great time!

We live and prepare all week to bring our guests the best experience they can have while vacationing here in Big Bear.

Do adversities come up? Sure they do, but, we are here to help things move smoothly. We truly want our guests to know they are appreciated in everyway we can.

Staying in hotels, motels, lodges etc. is very different from staying in a private home. Many times the rates, especially our lowered rates for this economy, can be the better value. Do a proper comparison when you shop price.

Proper Comparison Shopping……..there is no comparison from a hotel or the others mentioned above to a private home. While the others are great alternatives when that type of stay is warranted, they do not allow for the same comfort, convenience, and attributes we are used to having in our own homes.

When you choose to stay in a home you do take on the willingness to realize that the stay will be more pleasing and offer many more options, however, you need to also realize that in a home there are many other things that can arise that could present a disappointment on some level.

We do pride ourselves in taking great care of the properties we manage, but also know that there are issues that can arise without warning and unfortunately our guests are forced to encounter these little issues from time to time.

We do promise to be as accommodating as we can, but please, be reasonable and understanding. Sometimes there are things beyond our control through no fault of anyones. It is at these times that you our guests will know that our concerns for your comfort are not just words but do get action. We do expect our guests to be reasonable and patient and support our efforts in their understanding.

When comparing private homes, you must consider where the location of the home is. Do not compare a lakefront to one that only has a lakeview, also, do not compare a lake view to one that has only a peek of the lake or maybe no view at all!

What kind on amenities does the home have? Pool Table, Game Room, Hot Tub etc. Comparing so with ones that do not have those items is also not a fair comparison.

Does the home have upgraded electronics? Internet access? How many does it sleep?

Look at the pictures carefully, read all the information that is posted on the website and then ask all your personal questions that mean something to you and your guests.

Doing your homework before making a choice is also a key component to getting what you want in the vacation home you are choosing.

All this stated, when you do choose to stay in a private home, please realize that although the home and its amenities are listed at the time of the home being placed on the program, the management company has no control over the homeowner removing things without notice, therefore it would not be unreasonable for you to encounter some slight differences.

Renting a private home goes far beyond the look and feel of a one room accommodation which also promises to give back much more in the experience.

When you are ready we are here and waiting to welcome you on a great experience from home.

If you’ve traveled to Big Bear before and haven’t stayed with us, give us a try, we guarantee that there is no better rental company that cares and commits to making sure the cabin you are staying at is clean and comfortable for your stay.

We want you to experience our warm hospitality on your next stay.
