This is a good thing and a bad thing. In 1997 the BLM and Forest Service took a Burro Census and decided it was time to remove the Burros from the immediate area. That done, Burros stopped eating our wood around the house, knocking over our trash, and braying all day and night! I miss them…
So, as of right now, you can come up and see the burros kicking around the neighborhoods! But get here quickly, as some government agency will remove them…I promise. It seems you can’t control people so the burros suffer.
